On November 6, 2024, the Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson, Canada’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, provided an update on the important progress made under the 2BT program since March 2023. The Minister also announced over $200 million in investments for more than 30 new projects which will help further restore forests and improve climate resilience by increasing carbon sequestration, biodiversity, and ecosystem services.
