The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced that Canada is imposing additional sanctions under the Special Economic Measures (Hamas Terrorist Attacks) Regulations.
Effective immediately, Canada is imposing sanctions against four additional individuals in response to the terrorist attack by Hamas in Israel that began on October 7, 2023, and the threat that Hamas and its affiliates pose to regional security.
