Government of Canada to host commemorative event at Beechwood Cemetery in lead-up to the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy

Marie-France Lalonde, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of National Defence, on behalf of the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, will attend a commemorative event jointly hosted by Veterans Affairs Canada and Beechwood National Cemetery, with Veterans of the Second World War in attendance.
