Government of Canada to host commemorative event at the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site in the lead-up to the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy

Andy Fillmore, Member of Parliament for Halifax, on behalf of the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, will attend a commemorative event jointly hosted by Veterans Affairs Canada and Parks Canada, with Veterans of the Second World War in attendance.
